Lately, Andrew likes to see how loud he can yell for no particular reason. It normally doesn't bother me, but he does get some strange looks when he's doing it in a busy store. Some even question if he's okay. Anyway, I usually do manage to quiet him down when we're in public.

Andrew in action on his "Jumperoo". He's loved this nifty contraption, and it has given me many hours of peace. However, as you can see from these action shots, he has just about outgrown it.

"Hmm, would I rather play with the brand new toy, or a piece of paper from the box it came in?"

Typical kid.

Proud to be standing on his own. Andrew was 10 months old yesterday, and it looks like he will skip crawling all together. What Andrew wants to do lately is walk while we hold his hands. Constantly. He never tires of this new form of transport.

Unfortunately, his only concern is every increasing speed...not balance. This means we have to lean over and hold both his hands, which gets quite uncomfortable for us after a while. Andrew has also learned how to pitch a fit if he does not get what he wants. I thought we wouldn't have to deal with fits until the "terrible two's". I suppose he's just advanced for his age. ;-)

The face of teething pain and crankiness. It doesn't help that in lieu of picking him up, Mom stuck a camera in his face.

Andrew making his selection from an array of reading material.

Scott has been traveling the Pacific Rim, while Andrew had a double ear infection, hand, foot & mouth disease (don't ask), and was cutting his first two teeth. Needless to say, I didn't manage to find time to update the blog. But Scott returned yesterday, with jewelry in hand, so I can't complain.

Uncle Shane is teaching Andrew how to be a profitable poker Player. Unfortunately, if you look closely, Andrew is showing everyone his cards. Looks like Shane is not focusing on the basics of cards with Andrew.
